On Monday evening, Tennessee’s General Assembly held a Joint Convention and Governor Bill Lee (R-TN) delivered his seventh State of the State address to lawmakers and members of the public.
The theme of Gov. Lee’s 2025 State of the State address was innovation.
From the well of the House floor, Gov. Lee discussed the disaster caused by Hurricane Helene in East Tennessee last fall, as well as other issues considered by the General Assembly during the recent special legislative session.
