Conservative Lawmaker Calls For McNally's Resignation Over Social Media Exploits

Representative Todd Warner (R-Chapel Hill-District 92) has officially called for the resignation of Lt. Gov. Randy McNally (R-Oak-Ridge-District 5) following McNally’s embarrassing exploits on social media.

In a statement, Warner called McNally’s foibles “the actions of a perverted 80-year-old man looking to fulfill his closeted sexual desires.”

Warner told us, “Numerous members have said he should resign but everyone was afraid to call for his resignation. It’s the right thing to do for Senator McNally to resign. I’m praying for him and his family.”

Since liberal media sources began reporting on McNally’s “hypocritical” comments and reactions to queer content on Instagram – something seemingly in contrast to his public support of what the left brands “Anti-LGBTQ” laws – McNally has been mocked and even parodied in a Saturday Night Live skit.

Brandon Lewis, founder of The Tennessee Conservative, spoke last week on why McNally should resign, reasons that have everything to do with the Lieutenant Governor’s policies and nothing to do with how he spends his time on social media.

My beef with Randy McNally is not that I’m looking for an apology because he communicated with, or thumbs upped, or liked, or whatever you want to call it, men in scantily clad outfits of a homosexual persuasion – I don’t care, it makes no difference to me.

But what I do care about is his lack of leadership over the last two and half years when the lockdowns, the forced vaccinations, the forced masking, the shaming and everything else, he should have stood up for his right as an independent branch of government against the governor as he abused his emergency powers for federal money."
