Drag Queen Christmas For Nashville But No Christmas Parade

Nashville gets “A Drag Queen Christmas”  this year thanks to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) but Nashvillians will not get their annual Christmas Parade.

The Drag show, presented by Murray & Peter, is in its 8th consecutive year and scheduled for November 27th at the James K. Polk Theater. While it is not described as family-friendly, there is no age restriction on the tickets and TPAC’s updated Patron Entry Policy “strongly recommends all patrons 2+ years of age to wear a mask while in the theater and public spaces.”

The same show in New York is advertised for “all ages.” There will also be a Meet & Greet starting at 6pm for those purchasing VIP tickets.

Meanwhile, instead of the annual in-person parade that Nashville usually enjoys as part of the Christmas season, the producers of the Nashville Christmas Parade are “again sharing the joy of the holidays nationwide with the Nashville Holiday Music Special.”
