Lawsuits Regarding Covenant School Shooter Manifesto Release Consolidated Before Upcoming Hearing

A status conference was held yesterday between Judicial District Chancery Court Judge I’Ashea Myles in the Chancery Court for Davidson County, 20th Judicial District, and Metro Nashville city attorneys regarding the public records lawsuit pertaining to the “manifesto” and other writings of The Covenant School shooter.

All lawsuits filed to date against the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County regarding the release of records have now been consolidated.

Joining former sheriff for Hamilton County, James Hammond, the Tennessee Firearms Association, and Michael Patrick Leahy of the Tennessee Star, is Senator Todd Gardenhire in conjunction with The Tennesseean.
