An ad seen on a digital sign in Maury County bears a deceptive message in the last weeks leading up to Election Day in November. The ad states that Maury County Conservatives endorse the Harris/Walz Democratic campaign, but a local Conservative Republican club says the sign has nothing to do with them.
As you travel North on Nashville Highway in Maury County, at the end of the Duck River Bridge, the digital billboard is located on the left.
The ad appeared last week with the words “Maury County Conservatives for Harris/Walz” and “Pro Liberty, Pro Democracy, Pro America.”
Under the main text, smaller print states that the ad was paid for by “James Campbell and Friends.”
