Chattanooga police arrested an illegal alien from Venezuela in connection with a deadly crash that occurred Saturday morning inside the East Ridge tunnel.
24-year-old Yerson Ysaac Sanchez Rivera has been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide, along with driving under the influence, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and failure to exercise due care.
Sanchez Rivera is also charged with three counts of duty to render aid after he left his wrecked car and attempted to flee the scene before being apprehended by police.
